Hello crafty people!
The CHA show floor opens up tomorrow! Today was a busy day with presenting at and taking seminars, reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. The energy here is electric!
My apologies for not having shared something sooner…as I have been here in Anaheim, CA, enjoying the warm and sunny weather. I have not been having much luck with internet…as I am sitting in the lobby of my hotel just to get a connection. Which brings me to the topic of "best laid plans"!
As an artist and designer who travels often, I have learned that despite how well I can plan…or even pack…sometimes things don't exactly turn out (or arrive!) the way I had intended. This has definitely happened this trip…but that is a story for another time! Over the years, I have become an expert packer…of personal and creative items. However, there are times I have shipped project for show booths, showcases, workshops and something gets damaged in transit. The first thing you learn? Travel with a tool kit so that you can make repairs!
So, I was so touched when iLovetoCreate reached out to the CHA Designer to let us know that they would be putting together an "emergency repair kit" to use for our designer showcases. That is a very generous thing to do! I was wondering….as I went over in my head the list of amazing products that they manufacture…what might be in this kit! I figured, there will have to be Aleene's adhesive products in there for sure…and if that was all there was I was grateful!
Then today I went to pick up my repair kit…and I was utterly speechless. iLovetoCreate went above and beyond what any reasonable person could possibly expect. This was a most humbling experience and I don't think there is anything I can do that would express how truly thankful I am. You just have to see this for yourself….
This is the lovely box the provided to each of us (which I particularly love because it matches my logo colors!)
Then….I almost fell over (I did!) when I opened this container up! There was a very kind note from iLovetoCreate's Alyson Dias!
They provided us with all their adhesives! Do you see how much is there??????
As if that wasn't enough…..we received Tulip paint, sponges and brushes, too!
Wait! There's more!!!!!!! There is a Tulip Adhesive Measuring Tape…which I really needed and will be using Sunday night for sure. Plus this very handy, helpful and convenient screwdriver set!
Oh…I'm not done! To me anyway…this is a very personal touch. These items can only come from others who really understand our industry….these are a little bonus! The bandages, in particular, are very handy. You can never travel with too many of these!
To be blunt? This is one SICK repair kit! A SUPER HUGE THANK YOU to iLovetoCreate for being generous, thoughtful, making amazing product and having some of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet on staff!
Artfully (and gratefully) yours…..Theresa
