Top 3 Tools for Making Your Social Media Account Management Easier

Top 3 Tools for Making your Social Media Account Management Easier | @theresacifaliOne of the hardest things for anyone new to social media is getting used to the sheer number of things you need
to do in order to effectively promote your brand on social media.  I mean – between multiple platforms, trying to update throughout the day, and respond to comments – not to mention tracking mentions of your brand and analyzing the whole shebang to see what you could do better, there’s just a ton of things to do each and every day.

Fortunately, there are also a ton of programs out there that each offer their own tools to help you get more organized and efficient when it comes to using social media marketing to promote your business and boost your profits. I’ll highlight just a couple of tools for social media here, and each week or two will mention a few more so you don’t get overwhelmed.  There’s a ton of them, so it’d be easy to get into brain overload!

Pingraphy

When you begin to use Pinterest for your business, it’s easy to get sucked into it.  First of all – it’s just fun to use.  And given that it’s not the most organized of the social media platforms, sometimes when you go to put up your own pins, you start looking at others’ pins, and before you know it, half the day is gone and you still need to a hundred other things.

Pingraphy is a great tool for scheduling your pins, so not only can you plan this part of your marketing efforts in advance, but it keeps you from getting sucked into the rest of Pinterest and losing hours.  Trust me – it’s way too easy to get lost in Pinterest!
Using Pingraphy is quick and easy, though, and in just a few moments, you can schedule a whole day or even a whole week’s worth of pins.  I especially like how you can upload several pins and schedule a start time – then set an interval of how many minutes in between pins.

HootSuite:

If you’ve used social media for any length of time, you’re probably familiar with HootSuite.  It’s a tool for automating your social media updates on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.  Now, not everyone likes the idea of automating any of their updates.  But – not all of us have all the time in the world to be able to update all day every day (you know, in between doing the actual thing we’re in business to do)!  So the happy medium for many people is to schedule some automatic updates, then fill in throughout the day with live updates and conversations from time to time.

Sprout Social:

This is a great all purpose social media management tool that makes it super easy to track mentions of your brand, as well as assigning tasks to team members.  One of the things it does best is analytics.  Within 24 hours, it pulls together information about your followers and lets you know what you could be doing better for more engagement and reach.

Do you have a favorite social media management tool?  Or – is there a task you wish there was a tool for?  Maybe there is – I’d love to help connect you with the tools you need to make your social marketing easier!  Leave a comment below – I’d love to hear from you!

Tweet Deck is a great platform, Kristin. I just can’t stand looking at a black screen all day. I can do all of those things and more inside of Hoot as well.
