I am so fortunate to work along-side so many wonderful and talented professional craft designers. So many times, I get to celebrate the successes of my colleagues. Today, I want to share with you a new book by industry craft expert, Linda Peterson It’s called Upcycled Jewelry ©2014 Cisco Books.
If you are a jewelry designer or have interest in learning how to craft beautiful jewelry…you are going to LOVE this book. I myself, am not very good at jewelry making….but I dream of being good at it one day. This book is so user friendly. The beginning contains a visual glossary of items that one needs to create jewelry. Very helpful for a beginner, like me. Also, not are the directions easy to understand, but Linda provides helpful hints all throughout to make each project even easier to create. The photography is simply stunning as well, but what I love the most about it is how Linda uses everyday items to create absolutely stunning pieces of jewelry.
(Disclaimer: I received a free copy of Upcycled Jewelry by Linda Peterson ©2014 Cisco Books for this post)
The Cell Phone Pouch project really caught my attention. It incorporates soda can tabs, of which I happen to have quite a stash. I am also not into carrying large purses, so this is something that I would really use myself and I’d be proud to give it as a gift for the upcoming holidays. Speaking of which…Upcycled Jewelry would make a wonderful gift for the holidays as well. You can simply click on any book title or click here to view this book on Amazon.
This is a spectacular book, but you don’t have to take my word for it. Other designers have reviewed Upcycled Jewelry (©2014 Cisco Books) as well and I’m sure that they loved it, too! You can check out everyone’s posts below:
