I’m often asked how I manage my time and schedule my activities so I stay as productive as possible.
Fortunately, there’s a pretty simple answer to this: I do this through using a daily planner.
But, not all daily planners are created equal!
In this post, I’m going to share the best daily planners for productivity on the market (in my humble opinion), as well as a couple of others that I also recommend for planning, scheduling, and organizing your life and business.
But first…Why Use a Daily Planner?
If you’re currently using a to-do list, a blank notebook, or a calendar for your scheduling and goal-setting, you have no idea what you’re missing out on.
A daily planner is so much more than just a tool for scheduling appointments and tasks.
Daily planners for productivity can help you:
- Set your weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual goals
- Keep you motivated as you work towards those goals
- Improve your productivity and organization
- Reduce feelings of stress and overwhelm
- Find more time to do the things you love
And given that a daily planner won’t break the bank, it’s one of the most cost-effective tools you can use to achieve real change and growth in your business!
The 3 Best Daily Planners for Productivity
Following are 3 of the best daily organizers out there to help you improve your time management, increase your productivity, and reduce overwhelm.
If you have a favorite daily planner or organizer that isn’t on my list, be sure to let me know about it in the comments below!
1. The Full Focus Planner

I used the Full Focus Planner for three years and I absolutely loved it!
It’s the brainchild of author and leadership guru Michael Hyatt, and is much more than a simple notebook or to-do list. This tool taught me how to set more effective goals as well as achieve both my short-term and long-term goals.
Some of the things I love about the Full Focus Planner include:
- The ability to plan a quarter at a time, while also helping me break my schedule/goals down into days, weeks and months.
- “Power sheets” to help me be more intentional and more productive.
- A totally customizable calendar. It lets me add my own dates so I can customize it to my fiscal year.
- It’s clean and simplistic.
- It’s small enough to fit in my purse.
But most of all, I love that it retrained me to focus on the small actions I need to take to reach certain milestones. I made massive amounts of progress once I started using this planner.
Of all the daily planners for productivity on the market, this one is excellent. It will help you take small steps towards your long-term goals…without feeling overwhelmed.

2. The What Matters Planner
This company offers a bunch of different daily planners for productivity, but their real star is the One-Year Powersheets Intentional Goal Planner.
Not only does it help with scheduling and time management, but it also gives you goal-setting worksheets that allow you to be super-intentional about setting and meeting your goals.
And if you aren’t exactly sure which goals you want to set? The “power sheets” are perfect for discovering your goals or even finding your passion.
This is also a great option if you prefer a yearly planner, as opposed to a quarterly one.
And it’s also really colorful and fun, which never hurts!
Some other features I love:
- Goal coaching on each page to help you stay on track
- Seasonal worksheets that allow you to regularly refocus your goals (if need be)
- Goal-setting stickers, which while not completely necessary sure are fun 😉
- A reinforced pocket to hold your notes or other papers
Price: $60
3. The Blue Sky Planner
Do you prefer a more traditional, no-nonsense daily planner?
One that gives you lots of space for writing, has nice large print for easy reading, and gives you both weekly and monthly views?
Then the Blue Sky Weekly Planner might be the right choice for you.
I love that the weekly pages help you see your most important short-term tasks at a glance; but that it also includes a goal-setting section so you can set and track your monthly and yearly goals.

Thank you, I am appreciate the gentleness of your mindful planner. I plan to replace the do less of this section and the contact section for “Identify my Need” and “How will I meet that Need”. Something I need to be more conscious and intentional about.
