Finding the best team members for your business can be a challenge. And if you’re looking to hire a remote team, this can be even more difficult! The good news is that in this day and age there are tons of solutions. I'm talking about outsourcing websites.
Outsourcing is a great first step into the hiring arena. And there are many websites to help with the outsourcing process.
These websites will help you find people who are skilled, reliable, and experienced. And, perhaps most importantly of all, people who will be self-motivated and able to work independently. That means less work for you. Because what's the point of outsourcing your tasks if you have to hover over the people who are supposed to help you free up valuable time and make business easier?
You might be thinking, “This sounds great but where can I find remote team members for my business — ones I can trust to help me build your business?” Great question! As always, I've got your back.
How do you find remote team members for your business…ones you can trust to help you build your business? You can start by checking out this articleClick To TweetThe following are five outsourcing websites that will help you find the best possible remote workers for your business.
5 Best Outsourcing Websites
1. Hire My Mom
Hire My Mom is an outsourcing website that specifically targets – you guessed it – moms.
Many of the moms on this site are experienced professionals who have left a traditional 9-5 career in order to stay at home with their kids.
I find the quality of leads on Hire My Mom to be quite high. I've been pleased with past writers I've worked with. They've been serious professionals.
And because job-hunters also need to pay to use the service, you won’t waste your time dealing with people who aren’t really interested in finding work. In other words, you'll find more serious candidates.
Another benefit of Hire My Mom is they've been around for quite a long time. This means they've got things figured out, which signals experience and quality. The company knows what it's doing.
You can discover more information about this company by visiting the How It Works page on their website.
2. Off/Source
Off/Source advertises itself as “a network of highly skilled virtual professionals serving clients across the nation specializing in supporting businesses and solo entrepreneurs with their administrative, marketing, operations, and sales support needs.” The mission of this company is “to solve your problems, leaving you some peace of mind.”
This outsourcing website does things a little differently. They understand that sometimes you need a team of people instead of one person.
For example, you may need help with social media management and graphic design and bookkeeping and admin and fill-in-the-blank. But you don't have time or the resources to hire five separate people. Additionally, you don't have enough work in each of those areas to make it worth anyone's while.
Off/Source solves this problem by providing the team for you. You purchase a block of hours, tell them what work you want done, and they delegate the parts and pieces you need to their team. Then, they give you a full report.
It's a great solution. Saves you the time of having to look for good people and you can rest easy knowing that professionals are handling your business.

3. Indeed (remote)
I’m sure you’ve heard of Indeed, as it’s one of the largest — if not the largest — job boards/outsourcing websites on the web.
Most of the jobs on the site are aimed at local, on-site jobs. However, by specifying “remote” in your job posting, you can tap into a worldwide talent pool, and potentially attract hundreds or even thousands of potential job hunters.
When posting your job, just be sure to choose “remote” for the location!
You can get started with posting your job for Free. Yes, still! Discover more about their job posting process and how pricing works on the How Indeed Works page of their website.
4. Fiverr
If you're looking for freelancers to do one-off projects, then Fiverr could be the perfect option for you. Not only is it the largest marketplace to hire freelancers, it also covers the widest variety of niches and is certainly the most cost-effective.
Fiverr freelancers post “gigs” on their pages that you can review for cost, learn about their skillset, and read customer reviews. Once you've found some “gigs” that interest you, you can contact the freelancer, ask questions, and enter into a contract with them.
No matter what your budget, you'll find something on Fiverr. And no matter what work you need to be done, there's likely someone on Fiverr that does it.
Seriously. We're talking:
- logo design
- website design
- voice-overs
- graphic design
- social media
- writing
- video editing
- animation
- music
- programming
This is by no means an exhaustive list. So check out Fiverr to find a freelancer to help with your projects.
5. Online Jobs
Another amazing outsourcing website is Online Jobs.
You can search for talent and post up to three jobs for free on this site. To search, simply enter your search term under “Looking for Talent” and click search. You'll be taken to a list of talented, hard-working remote workers in the Philippines.
First, you will see an overview of their skills and their desired salary. Next, open each profile to see more, such as their personal information, IQ, DISC assessment scores, skills, and more. You can also pin profiles you like so you can find them again later.
To actually contact and interview the talent you find, you'll need to upgrade to a Pro account. It's a small fee and worth the investment because most of the work is done for you. Give it a shot. At least go and check out the talent available at Online Jobs. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
I'd like to add that I've had the great pleasure of working with Filipino virtual assistants for years. My current team member is Filipino and I don't know what I'd do without her.
She's a smart, friendly, caring, self-starter who needs no supervision from me. As a matter of fact, she keeps ME on track and I credit the big leaps I've made here at Daily Achievers to her. She makes a difference. Just that alone would make me happy, but she's always eager to learn new things and blows me away with how quickly she figures things out — especially tech! She is not a virtual assistant or a remote worker to me, she's truly a teammate!
And I know you're wondering, “But what about the language barrier?” There is none. Filipino talent speaks and writes well in English. That is a non-issue.
Honestly, who cares where someone lives if they are good people who do a good job. Just treat people like people and you'll be fine.
So, check out Online Jobs to learn more about their pricing or to see what kinds of talent you can hire.
